How to Tap Your Inner Wisdom with Oracle Cards
Do you ever feel like the universe is whispering a solution, but the answer is stuck at the tip of your tongue? Do you feel "off", but can't pinpoint the root cause? Oracle cards are the answer.
My coach Jennifer first introduced me to this powerful tool through her recommendation of the Goddess Oracle. For those new to this, let me break it down. And no, it’s not a tarot card deck that will predict your future.
Oracle cards serve as a path to your soul's wisdom, helping you articulate what your soul intuitively knows but you can’t get it into words.
My Recommended Oracle Decks
1. Work Your Light Oracle Cards (Rebecca Campbell)
My dear friend Antia, translator by day and shamanic sound healer to her close friends, introduced me to this beautifully designed deck. A great deck to get started on oracle cards. I love pulling these cards, as the messages are easy to understand and implement, and the artwork is amazing. Her oracle decks are available in over twenty languages, including: English and Spanish. For those of you in Spain, you can find them aswell in some Herbolario Navarro brick and mortar stores.
Once you are familiar with this deck, I highly recommend continuing with Healing Waters and StarSeed decks.
2. The Goddess Oracle Deck & Book Set (Amy Sophia Marashinsky)
This is deck has more depth to it. The spreads can be more complex, and the suggested actions sometimes require more effort than those of Rebecca Campbell—but the rewards are deep and incredibly meaningful and revealing.
I use this deck when I need guidance in a more strategic and structured manner and I use The Place of Opposites Spread. Available in English and Spanish.
3. The Spirit Animal Oracle (Colette Baron-Reid)
This fascinating deck entered my life after a magical sound healing hypnosis session in Amsterdam. It is a powerful tool for connecting with your inner guides and understanding the specific lessons and energy the animal kingdom has for you. Available in English and Spanish.
Your Ritual: How to Pull a Card
To get the most out of your cards, approach the process mindfully and with intention.
Set the Sacred Space: Find a calm moment. Light Palo Santo or a candle, and place a favorite crystal nearby to secure the energy.
Ask Your Question: Hold the deck, close your eyes, and clearly ask a question. Focus on an issue or challenge you want to overcome.
Shuffle and Spread: Shuffle the cards while holding your intention, then spread them in an arc shape on a clean surface.
Listen to Your Intuition: Close your eyes, gently scan the cards with your index finger, and choose the one you feel most pulled to.
Read and Reflect: Follow the instructions for your chosen spread and integrate the card's guidance into your day.
I hope these oracle decks shed some light on the answers to questions you might have. Remember, your soul holds the answers.
